OKX's Auto-Renewal Subscription Feature aims to streamline subscription for reinvestment, optimizing fund utilization and ensuring smooth fund flow. Additionally, it seeks to enhance SFP product TVL, bolster option liquidity, and optimize business operations. Moreover, it intends to introduce tailored auto-renewal options with optimized settings to maximize user returns.
Discover & Define
Durign the user interview, we delved into existing user behavior and requests to understand the demand background for the Auto-Renewal Subscription Feature. We identified two patterns of reinvestment: fixed strike reinvestment and relatively fixed APY reinvestment.
Moreover, user interviews revealed that automatic resubmission could meet various user scenarios, such as coin-earning users and release-type users.
How might we simplify the reinvesting experience and increase option liquidity for users, while also catering to the needs of influential users driving transaction volume?
Develop
To simplify and enhance the reinvesting experience, we focused on catering to the needs of the influential 5% group driving 60% of transaction volume. I proposed to suppllement the reewal order intereaction during subscription journeys which also can coherence across all FP products, streamlining the process for users. And that UI treament can increase transparency in the subscription flow, making it easier for users to understand potential earnings.
Beside, for the added Advanced mode on the DCD renewal feature, we aimed to provide users with optimized settings for compounding returns, offering a more flexible subscription experience. My approach centered on creating a user-friendly interface with a clear, informative structure. The estimated chart illustrates the benefits of both Basic and Advanced modes, empowering users to make informed decisions aligned with their investment strategies. By blending sophisticated design principles with practical functionality, we ensured that the new mode exceeded user expectations for flexibility and return optimization.

How to use auto-renewal on Dual Investment -->
Outcome
The launch of the Advanced mode resulted in a 24% increase in users activating auto-renewal, growing from 356 to 470 users since its introduction in October 2023.
Furthermore, there was a notable 66% increase in AUM, with figures rising from 198,084 USDT to 580,240 USDT. This growth indicates the Advanced mode's effectiveness in encouraging users to engage more deeply with the DCD product by utilizing advanced strategies for compounding returns.
